Italian President Sergio Mattarella hosts 120th anniversary of the Italian Football Association, October 15th, 2018.


The Italian President, Sergio Mattarella, hosted at the Quirinale presidential palace the 120th anniversary of the Italian Football Association.  
One hand for the special event were both the women’s and men’s national soccer teams with captain Sara Gama who gave a touching speech on the women’s game, and also old soccer stars, such as Dino “Super Dino” Zoff, 1982 World Cup captain, Gianni “Golden Boy” Rivera, the 1970 vice World Cup champion behind Pele’s Brazil in Mexico City, Gigi Buffon, a 2006 World Cup champion, the great defenders Franco Baresi of AC Milan and national tam fame and Beppe Bergomi who was only 18 when along with Zoff and the rest of the national team he won that World Cup in Spain in 1982.
