Palazzo Borromeo honours the work of the “Osservatore Romano’s” director Andrea Monda, May 18th, 2021.

Palazzo Borromeo, the magnificent seat of the Italian Embassy to the Holy See in Rome honoured the work of Andrea Monda, the director of the 160 year-old “Osservatore Romano”, the official newspaper of the Vatican.

 





 





On hand for the special event were host and Italian Ambassador Pietro Sebastiani, the all-powerful Cardinal Pietro Parolin, the Vatican’s Secretary of State, and Gianni Letta, former Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi’s political and the uncle of the current Democratic Party leader Enrico Letta.

"Prova di liberta'" photo exhibit at Rome's Maxxi museum, May 11th, 2021


The "Prova di liberta" by Rome native Riccardo Ghilardi is on at Rome's Maxxi museum until May 11th, 2021.

The photographer has up to 40 unique images of famous Italian actors, movie directors and musicians during Italy's first lockdown.
