The British Ambassador to Rome, Jill Morris, held a special “UK-Italy
Dialogues on the Protection of our Cultural Heritage” at her official
residence, Villa Wolkonsky.
On hand for the event were British experts on the recovery of stolen art
as well as their Italian counterparts, the special unit of the Carabinieri, who
had on display stolen artefacts that have been taken awway illegally from Italy
to foreign countries.
