The “Ancient Civilization in Turkmenistan” exhibit is currently on at Rome’s Musei Capitolini (the world’s oldest museum, so they say).
The exhibit is a rich collection of works of art (150 of them are on display) from the 3rd and 2nd centuries B.C. in Turkmenistan, an area of significant archeological importance and a crossroads of many cultures in Central Asia. Some of the objects on hand have never been seen before outside of the country.
The exhibit runs until April 12th, 2026.
