Villa Medici hosts the “Chromotherapia” photographic exhibit with Italian artist Maurizio Cattelan, February 27th, 2025

Rome’s magnificent Villa Medici, the seat of the French Academy (Keith Richards also spoke very highly of it in his autobiography "Life"), is currently hosting the unique “Chromotherapia” photographic exhibit until June 9th, 2025.

On hand for yesterday’s vernissage was Italy’s rather eclectic artist, Maurizio Cattelan, whose infamous “Banana” (yes, the one that was taped to a wall) went on the auction block for a cool 6.2 million dollars (millionaire Justin Sun not only bought it but he also proceeded to eat the “Banana”).

Pics by several famous photographers are also on display, including those of British photojournalist Martin Parr.
