Rome’s “Atreju” socio-cutlural-political event drew to a close at the Circus Maximus, Decvember 14th, 2024

“Atreju”, Fratelli d’Italia’s (Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni’s political “Brothers of Italy” right-wing party) socio-cultural-political festival drew to a close on December 15th, 2024, at the Circus Maximus. 

 

 
“Atreju” came about in 1998 and last year’s event also included multi-billionaire Elon Musk (and with several of his kids too).  The motto of this year’s event was “The Italian Way”.

 

The eight-day event included 500 presentations with approximately 380 national and international guests.  The December 14th event included former Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte, Italian Home Minister Matteo Piantedosi and his British counterpart Yvette Cooper (they discussed illegal immigration in both Italy and the UK), Lebanon’s Prime Minister Najib Miqati and Giorgia Meloni who wrapped up the evening by presenting the current star of Argentine—and international  politics—president Javier Milei (during their Rome stay Milei and his sister were both granted Italian citizenships by PM Meloni...so they say).
