Italy’s Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni greets Germany’s Chancellor Olof Scholz, June 8th, 2023

Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni greeted German Chancellor Olof Scholz to Rome’s Palazzo Chigi, the seat of the Italian government. 

The agenda of the two European leaders included the ever-increasing number of refugees arriving on the shores of Italy (and other Mediterranean countries), the war in Ukraine and the EU’s overall economy.
