Rome hosts the Don McCullin photographic exhibit, October 21st, 2023

Britain’s Don McCullin is one of the world’s great photo journalists.  His rather stark and in-depth photography exhibit is currently on at Rome’s Palazzo delle Esposizioni.

The 88 year-old photographer from Finsbury Park, London has covered during throughout his illustrious career several war zones, such as the one in Vietnam (perhaps his most iconic picture is the one of a stunned American GI staring out into outer space).

With the world currently affected by turmoil in Europe, the Middle East and other parts of the world McCullin’s exhibit  reminds us that sadly history (continues) to repeat itself.
