Italy's new Foreign Affairs Minister Enzo Moavero Milanesi met India's minister Sushma Swaraj in Rome, June 18th, 2018 to discuss bilateral issues.   On the hand for the event was also India's ambassador to Italy, Reenat Sandhu.

Italy's new Prime Minister, Giuseppe Conte, met at Palazzo Chigi in Rome the Secretary-General of NATO, Jens Stoltemberg, on June 11th, 2018.

The two discussed the Mediterranean situation with migrants arriving in Italy, Putin and the upcoming NATO Summit in Brussels.
