Franco Fontana is one of the deans of Italian photojournalism.  His “Retrospective” photo exhibit is currently on until August 31st, 2025 at Rome’s central Ara Pacis Museum (it had been visited 80+ years ago by Benito Mussolini and Adolf Hitler during the German leader’s official visit to Rome).
