“La Commedia Umana” by Chinese dissent artist Ai Weiwei at the Baths of Diocletian, March 24th, 2022

China's artist-activist Ai Weiwei was at Rome's Baths of Diocletian (they were once the largest baths in the world and are located directly in front of Italy's largest train station, Termini) for the press conference and presentation of his massive work of art, "La Commedia Umana".

The enormous chandelier stands 9 meters tall and 6 meters wide and is made of more than 2,000 pieces of black glass,  The piece was created in the world-famous glass blowing factories of Murano (located in the Venice area) and is supposed to represent humanity at its most basic level: intestines and bones.

The unique exhibit runs until April 3rd, 2022.
