Italian President Sergio Mattarella welcomes foreign leaders to the 8th edition of the “MED-Mediterranean Dialogues” conference, December 2nd, 2022

Italy’s President Sergio Mattarella welcomed leaders and key-note speakers (over 200 of them) to the 8th edition of “the MED-Mediterranean Dialogues” conference at Rome’s Parco dei Principi hotel.

President Mattarella was joined by the presidents of Niger, Mohamad Bazoum, and Mauritania, Mohamad Cheikh El Ghazouni, as this year’s theme for the 3-day international conference is “Weathering the Storm: Interdependence, Resilience and Cooperation”.  

Opening remarks also included remarks by Italy’s Foreign Affairs Minister Antonio Tajani.
