The magnificent Galleria Borghese located in central Rome inaugurated its special “The Sacred and Nature” art exhibit by the Italian artist Guido Reni.
Reni, who was born in Bologna in 1575, first came to Rome in the 1600s upon the request of a cardinal who was the nephew of Pope Gregorius XIV. The exhibit consists of 30 paintings by Reni, paintings which are surrounded by some of the most exquisite works of art by the likes of Bernini, Canova, Raphael and Bernini.
The exhibit runs until May 22nd, 2022.
