Steve Jobs would certainly be proud as Rome inaugurated today its latest Apple Store. It’s located in the heart of Rome on Via del Corso and practically in front of Palazzo Chigi, the seat of the Italian government.
The original building, Palazzo Marignoli, has been restored after several years of work and is adorned with marble floors and columns, a favorite of Jobs himself. The old Palazzo was once a meeting point for famous Italian writers, intellects and painters as it also contains original works by the artist Afro.
Approximately 200 employees from 19 different countries will be taking care of customers at the new store.
