Palazzo Borromeo, the Italian Embassy to the Holy See in Rome, hosted the conference on the 24th edition of the “Italian Language in the World”.
Hosted by Italian Ambassador Francesco Di Nitto, the conference was also dedicated to the 800th anniversary of St. Francis’s “Canticle of the Creatures” which on several occasions has also been mentioned by Pope Francis (the Canticle was also on display at Palazzo Borromeo).
Keynote speakers also included Cardinal Gianfranco Ravasi, president emeritus of the Vatican’s Cultural Pontifical Council.
