The “Sport and Innovation Made in Italy” conference in Rome, May 8th, 2024

The “Sport and Innovation Made in Italy” conference was held in Rome at the Farnesina (the Italian Foreign Affairs Ministry).

Antonio Tajani, the Italian Foreign Minister and Vice-Prime Minister, hosted the conference as a way of promoting Italy’s exceptional “Made in Italy” products through the world of sports and innovation.   

On hand for the event were the presidents of the swimming, tennis and track&field federations as well Italian athletes, such as swimming ace Gregorio Paltrinieri, 4x100 runner Lorenzo Patta, Filippo Volandri, the captain of the Davis Cup tennis squad and Fiona May, the (British-born) long jumping champion.
