Italy’s Foreign Affairs Minister and deputy Prime Minister Antonio Tajani met with his Argentine counterpart, Diana Mondino, at Rome’s Farnesina (the Italian Foreign Affairs ministry). Mondino is Argentina’s Minister for Foreign Relations and International Commerce.
The visit has come about as Argentina’s newly-elected President Javier Milei is currently in Rome during his very first visit to an EU country regarding bilateral talks with his country.
Milei also met with fellow Argentine Pope Francis, Italian President Sergio Mattarella and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni.
