The wonderful and whacky world of Venice’s Art Biennale, October 24-27, 2022

I first discovered Venice in 1966 and I’ve been visiting since then not only the world’s most unique city but also the world's craziest international exhibit, the Art Biennale.

And to begin with, some shots of that truly magical city!

This year’s edition is number 59 and includes close to 60 nations (but not Russia, for obvious reasons).  The many pavilions are also spread around the city but most works of art are located at the historic Arsenale and at the Giardini.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A visit to the magnificent “Gallerie dell’Accademia” was also included in our four-day visit as we admired the masterpieces of Giorgione, Bellini, Tintoretto, Tiziano and other fascinating artists.

The Biennale runs until November 27th, 2022.

The American pavilion here below.

Cool the Spanish pavilion: it was empty!
