“The Dawn of Modernism” exhibit at Rome’s Historic Infantry Museum, April 11th, 2024

Rome’s Historic Infantry Museum is currently hosting until July 23rd, 2024 the “The Dawn of Modernism” Impressionists’s exhibit.  

Some of the artists who are on hand include Toulouse-Lautrec, Degas, Picasso, Monet, Manet, Gauguin and Van Gogh.

 

The museum itself is located right next door to one of Rome’s main Basilicas, Santa Croce in Gerusalemme (artifacts dating back to Jesus’s crucification can be found in the Basilica).

The “From Sublime To Matter” exhibit at the Scuderie del Quirinale, April 14th, 2024

The “From Sublime To Matter” art exhibit is currently on at Rome’s Scuderie del Quirinale (they are located right in front of the Quirinale Presidential Palace).

The exhibit honors the 19th century artistic period  of one of Europe’s most unique and vibrant cities, Naples.  Some of the artists on hand are Degas, Sargent, Turner, Fortuny and others.

The Rome exhibit runs until June 16th, 2024.
