Helmut Newton (aka Helmut Neustadter) was a German photographer who died in 2004. He is considered one of the world’s greatest fashion photographers who centered a lot of his work on nude photography (on display his “Big Nudes”). Newton also covered Rome’s infamous Paparazzi.
His collaboration with fashion magazines amd companies included Playboy, Vogue, Elle, GQ, Vanity Fair, Marie Claire, Harper’s Bazaar, Chanel, Gianni Versace, D&G and Louis Vuitton, just to name a few.
Rome’s central Ara Pacis museum is currently hosting 200 photos in the “Helmut Newton Legacy” exhibit. The exhibit runs until March 10th, 2024.
