Alda Fendi, of the famous Roman haute couture fashion company, the “Sorelle Fendi”, was on hand to proudly present Pablo Piccaso’s 1909 oil painting “Young Woman” at her Rhinoceros Museum (the museum is located in the area where the She-Wolf saved the twins Romulus and Remus as they were floating in a basket on Rome’s famous Tiber river).
Picasso’s painting, on loan from St. Petersburg’s famous Hermitage State Museum, is also home to approximately 35 paintings by the Spanish artist (out of a total of 35,000 works of art by Picasso).
The exhibit, which is free, also contains information
on Picasso’s life and runs until May 22nd, 2022.
