Venice's amazing Biennale, November 4h-7th, 2024!

The world’s most unique (and beautiful) city, Venice, is currently hosting the world’s most famous international art event, the Biennale (the definition is by the prestigious magazine, The Economist).  Some shots of the Biennale and also scenes of Magical Venice!

Mysterious Venice!

The event itself takes place every two years and is now at its 60th edition.  The theme of this year’s Biennale is “Foreigners Everywhere”. 

The Giardini and the Arsenale areas of Venice host a variety of art (some of the MOST original and peculiar are on display!) in the many permanent pavilions  such as Canada, France, the U.S., the U.K., Egypt, Spain, Romania, Austria, etc. (due to the political turmoil in the Middle East the Israeli pavilion is currently closed, as is the Russian one).   

The Biennale runs from April 20th, 2024 to November 24th, 2024 (all pics were taken with the Panasonic Lumix DC-TZ200 digital camera).

And a side trip to quaint and charming Udine (where I also lived for 7 years, having first gone there in 1966).
