Italy’s
Cultural Heritage Minister, Dario Franceschini, and the new director of the
Palazzo Barberini museum, Flaminia Gennari Santori, were at a press conference in Rome's Palazzo Barberini (home also to some magnificent paintings by Caravaggio!).
The two discussed the new fusion of two
magnificent museums, Palazzo Barberini (where in 1953 Billy Wyler shot that
magnificent movie, “Roman Holiday”, with Audrey Hepburn—her very first movie
and an Oscar too—and a dashing Greogry Peck) and Palazzo Corsini: www.barberinicorsini.org
